 In this week we had only 2.day classes. De After the exam school conducted Christmas celebration. 

Second phase week 2

 During this period, the school conducted the Christmas examinations, and I was actively involved in the academic activities related to it. I attended my assigned classes and ensured smooth classroom management. In addition, I prepared detailed lesson plans for the subjects I handle, keeping the learning objectives, teaching strategies, and evaluation methods in mind. This week helped me reconnect with the school environment and resume my teaching responsibilities effectively.

Second phase week 1

 The second phase of my teaching practice started on 17th November, during which I got the opportunity to handle two classes in that week. Even though the number of classes was limited, it was a valuable learning experience that helped me improve my lesson planning and classroom management skills. I focused on clear explanation of concepts, maintaining student engagement, and building a positive teacher–student interaction. This phase of teaching practice boosted my confidence and gave me practical exposure to real classroom situations, contributing to my professional growth as a teacher.

Phase 1 week 12

 

In this week I got classes on 8I and 8E classes. It was a nice week. I conducted Achievement test, Diagnostic test and remedial teaching for this week on class 8I.

The students are seriously coperative with me. I got lot of experience with this week. The students were prepared for their Chrisas exam and I focused on the revision classes for class 8I and 8E

Phase 1 week 11

 During this week, I successfully completed my 40 lesson plans on 17th October.Leadership Development Awareness Class was conducted on October 14. The class taught the students how to acquire leadership qualities and how to improve communication skills through games section and other activities. The students also participated in the Sub-District Sasthrolsavam adding excitement and enthusiasm to the week. Overall, it was a wonderful and fulfilling week, as I could complete the portions on time and witnessed students active involvement in both academics and extracurricular activities. 

Phase 1 week 10

 The tenth week of my teaching practice marked the nearing completion of the first phase and was a satisfying and memorable experience. During this week, I successfully conducted and completed the achievement tests and diagnostic tests, and the students performed well, securing good grades. Along with academics, and Kalolsavam practices were progressing smoothly, creating a lively and joyful atmosphere in the school. The staffroom was filled with songs and cheerful sounds, like chirping birds, reflecting the talents and enthusiasm of the children. Overall, this week gave me a strong sense of accomplishment and happiness as I concluded the first phase of my teaching practice.

Phase 1 week 9

 The ninth week of my teaching practice was a pleasant and emotionally fulfilling experience that brought a sense of happiness and satisfaction. During this week, I felt much more comfortable and confident in handling the students, as our rapport had strengthened over time. Managing the class became easier, and students responded positively to my instructions and activities. I also noticed a clear improvement in my teaching methods, as I was able to effectively use and adapt different strategies based on students’ learning needs. Overall, this week was heart-warming and marked significant growth in my confidence and teaching skills

 Classes had been taken successfully and was really interesting to learn together with them. childrens had started to have friendship and become comfortable with me a lot.

1st phase 7th week

 The seventh week of my teaching practice was a unique and meaningful experience. The students were taught chapters and given chapter-based exercises. Activity oriented classes helped children to study faster and the approach towards learning had improved a lot after the classes. As we spent the afternoon serving lunch to the students. This activity helped me understand the importance of care, responsibility, and service in the school environment beyond classroom teaching. 

1st phase 6th week

 The sixth week of my teaching practice was a refreshing and memorable experience, as it was the first class after the Onam vacation. The students returned with enthusiasm and shared their Onam experiences, which helped create a warm and positive classroom atmosphere. I began the lesson by informally interacting with the students and gradually connected their festive experiences to the topic, which helped regain their attention and interest. The class was lively, and students participated actively after the break. This week helped me understand the importance of building rapport and smoothly transitioning students back into the learning process after a long vacation.

Community living camp

 The Community Living Camp “Synergy” organized by Iqbal Training College for the 2024–2026 batch was a meaningful and enriching experience that truly reflected the spirit of “Together we live, together we transform.” The camp offered a well-balanced blend of academic, cultural, physical, and life-skill oriented activities such as yoga and morning walks, mental health workshops, news bulletin presentations, group discussions, creative workshops, games, trekking, campus beautification, cultural nights, and valedictory programmes. Sessions like mindfulness, leadership talks, environmental awareness, folk and art activities, and community-based interactions helped students develop cooperation, discipline, confidence, and social responsibility. The structured daily routine with bells, group living, shared responsibilities, and reflective sessions promoted unity, mutual respect, and holistic personality development. Overall, the camp successfully fostered teamwork, self-reflection, and experiential learning, making it a memorable and transformative component of the B.Ed curriculum.

1st phase 5th week

 The fifth week of my teaching practice was a highly engaging and productive experience, as the classes were conducted using activity-based learning. During this week, I planned and implemented various student-centered activities such as group work, discussions, and simple tasks that encouraged active participation and collaboration among students. These activities helped students understand the concepts more clearly and made the learning process enjoyable and meaningful. This week helped me realize the effectiveness of activity-based learning in improving students’ interest and understanding, and it strengthened my ability to design creative and interactive lessons.

1st phase 4th week

 The fourth week of my teaching practice was a meaningful and confidence-building experience, as I became more comfortable with classroom teaching and student interaction. During this week, I was able to manage the class effectively, present lessons with better clarity, and use appropriate teaching aids to support students’ understanding. I focused more on encouraging student participation by asking questions and giving simple activities, which made the classes more interactive. I also improved my time management and assessment skills by giving short evaluations and feedback. The fourth week of teaching practice helped me strengthen my teaching skills and prepared me better for my future responsibilities as a teacher.

Phase 1 week 3

 During this third week of teaching practice, I had the opportunity to handle three classes, which helped me gain better confidence and classroom control. This week was especially interesting because I tried to make my lessons more interactive by asking short questions, encouraging student participation, and connecting the topic with their previous knowledge.  Managing time and maintaining discipline became easier compared to the previous weeks, and I felt more comfortable explaining concepts clearly. This week was a valuable learning experience that enhanced my teaching skills and motivated me to improve my methods further in the coming weeks.

 Review of Second week  Teaching Practice

The second teaching practice was a valuable experience where I could apply my teaching skills in a real-world setting. It was engaging to plan and conduct lessons while also being involved in organizing and participating in the Sports Day event. The Sports Day added an extra dimension to the practice, allowing me to connect with students in a more dynamic and fun environment. Overall, it was a productive experience that helped me grow as an educator, enhancing my ability to manage both academic and extracurricular aspects of school life.

Teaching practice phase 1 week 1

 On 14 April 2025 started our teaching pratice session monday to Friday we have classes in school i have only three days class in a week we enjoyed doing by serving mid day meals. Teachers make necessary needs for us. Cricket match was held on the days.

Education tour

The educational tour we undertook was a very beautiful and informative experience. In the first phase of the tour, we visited the  Botanical Garden. Our group consisted of only a few students. As soon as we reached there, we walked around the garden and enquired about how the garden is maintained and what methods are followed in gardening. The officials explained many things to us in detail.

The tour lasted for five days in total. Out of these, we spent two days at the Botanical Garden. The remaining three days were spent visiting places in Palode, Thennur, and a few locations near  College. During these days, I visited several houses and conducted a survey. These five days turned out to be a very pleasant and memorable experience for me.

Farewell

 On April 4, 2025, Iqbal Training College bid a heartfelt farewell to its senior students with a warm and emotional celebration. The farewell party featured touching speeches, cultural performances, and moments of reflection, expressing gratitude for the seniors’ contributions. It was a day filled with mixed emotions, as juniors celebrated the journey of their seniors while wishing them success in their future endeavors.

Yoga wirkshop

 A yoga workshop was conducted by Vishnu Sir, which was very informative and beneficial. The session mainly focused on the importance of yoga in maintaining physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Sir explained how regular practice of yoga helps in reducing stress, improving concentration, maintaining body flexibility, and leading a healthy lifestyle. His explanations were simple and clear, which made it easy for everyone to understand the value of yoga in daily life.

The workshop also included practical sessions where Vishnu Sir demonstrated and guided us through various yoga asanas. We actively participated in practicing these asanas under his guidance, and he corrected our postures and techniques. The session was very effective as it motivated us to include yoga in our daily routine and helped us experience relaxation and positivity both physically and mentally.

Annual day

 On 3rd April 2025, Iqbal Training College celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm and grandeur, showcasing the talents and achievements of its students. The event featured a variety of cultural performances, inspiring speeches, and the distribution of awards to recognize academic and extracurricular excellence. It was a memorable occasion that reflected the college’s commitment to holistic education and community spirit.

Students and faculty came together to enjoy the unique combination of intellectual exploration and traditional celebration, making it a memorable occasion for all.

Women's day celebration

 Women's day celebration was conducted in advance on 07-03-2025 at Iqbal training college on 1:30pm at college auditorium.Poster competition and cultural programmes were also conducted as part of the celebration.Chief guest was Rakendu S M(principal and managing partner,Darshana school,Nedumangad).

The event will feature inspiring speeches, cultural performances, and interactive sessions focused on women's empowerment and equality. It aims to raise awareness about gender issues while celebrating the spirit and resilience of womanhood.

Sports meet

 Conducted sports meet for the academic year 2024-26 on 27-02-2025 and on 28-02-2025.Track events were held at University stadium and games were conducted in the college itself.This grand occasion aims to foster team spirit, discipline, and a healthy competitive spirit among all participants.

Assembly

 First assembly conducted by English optional students were conducted on 07-02-2025 at the college auditorium.Certificates of some sports events were also distributed.

Arts day

 College union DHYUTHI organized arts day 2025 ILLUMINA on 06-07-2025 and 07-02-2025 at Iqbal training college.As part of the B.Ed. curriculum, the Arts Day celebration was held on the 6th and 7th of February 2025 at Iqbal Training College. The event showcased the vibrant talents of student-teachers through various cultural programs, competitions, and performances. It provided a lively platform for creative expression, fostering teamwork and a sense of community among participants.

Criticism class

 Criticism class was done on the topic acids and bases

of class 9 as part of BEd curriculum on 03-02-2025.Teacher as well as the student trainess commented that the class was very good and black board usage can be improved.I was able to convey the topic clearly,inco-orporated various teaching aids including lCT, properly managed the class and prompted students to answer the questions during the session.The chart prepared was neat and proper verbal and nonverbal reinforcement was properly used.The only improvement area suggested was that blackboard usage can be increased and time management should be a little bit taken care of as I used more time for prompting and helping students in answering making the interaction procedure more engaging.
