As part of the B.Ed curriculum, a one-day educational field trip was organized on 11th October 2024 to Kanyakumari, Vattakottai Fort, and Padmanabhapuram Palace. The trip offered students a valuable opportunity to explore the cultural, historical, and geographical significance of these iconic locations. The visit to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India, provided insights into the region's geographical uniqueness and cultural diversity.At Vattakottai Fort, students learned about the strategic importance of coastal defenses and the architectural ingenuity of the 18th-century Travancore Kingdom. The final stop, Padmanabhapuram Palace, showcased traditional Kerala architecture and offered a glimpse into the royal lifestyle and heritage.The trip was both educational and enriching, fostering a deeper understanding of India’s historical and cultural legacy.
